Job Function: Chef / Culinary / Kitchen ManagementWhat You’ll Do
Organize and assist with mise-en-place production and service in coordination with the Chef de Partie
Execute orders from the Chef de Partie in accordance with established hotel standards
Complete the daily checklist for mise-en-place and food storage requirements
Assist in preparing dry store, food requisitions, and kitchen transfers for approval by the Head Chef to ensure proper stock rotation
Maintain positive team relations and contribute to a motivated work environment
Prepare dishes according to portion sizes, quality, and recipes as directed by the Chef de Partie
Attend daily kitchen meetings and other required briefings
Monitor the main information board for banquet updates and operational changes
Report equipment or machinery issues promptly and ensure follow-up on repairs
Relay key operational information to the next shift for smooth handovers
Maintain Hygiene and HACCP records in compliance with regulations
Adhere to the hotel’s hygiene, food safety, and Standard Operating ProceduresCandidate Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen
Oral proficiency in English; strong reading and writing skills in English
Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices
