Job Type: Full-timeWhat You’ll Do
- Lead AML system design and implementation projects, focusing on SAS AML solutions
- Design, develop, and enhance AML systems to meet compliance and reporting needs
- Integrate SAS AML with core banking systems, data lakes, and enterprise databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL, Hadoop)
- Map and manage data flows from source systems such as onboarding and mobile applications into SAS AML models
- Collaborate with compliance and IT teams to align AML system functionality with regulatory and business requirements
- Optimize AML solutions to reduce false positives and improve monitoring processes
- Prepare and maintain architecture and design documents for AML systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless project delivery
- Apply project management principles across both waterfall and agile (SCRUM) models
- Support ongoing BAU initiatives and manage AML technology projects across multiple jurisdictions
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, IT, or Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience in banking IT, with at least 5 years dedicated to AML technology projects
- Proven expertise in SAS AML implementation and integration with diverse banking applications
- Strong background in transaction monitoring, sanctions systems, and compliance projects
- Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management
- Professional certifications such as SAS or ACAMS preferred
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments, JIRA, and Confluence is an advantage
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence teams and deliver results
