- Develop and implement audit plans and programs for project payments, considering project budgets, contracts, and financial control objectives.
- Execute audits by verifying and analyzing project payments, payment documents, supplier contracts, and internal controls.
- Evaluate payment requests and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms, purchase orders, and regulations.
- Ensure proper authorization, coding, and approval procedures are followed for all payments within the Capital Projects and Infrastructure Center, and confirm tax requirements per UAE tax laws and instructions.
- Analyze financial data related to project payments, identify discrepancies, patterns, and trends to address potential issues and improve financial controls.
- Identify opportunities to enhance invoice and payment processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices for project financial controls.
