Job description: OverviewFacility overview:M42 in partnering with the UAE Ministry of Defence to operate Zayed Military Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This collaboration will provide world-class healthcare to over three million residents in the northern UAE, including military personnel and their families. By integrating top healthcare providers like the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, M42 will ensure access to specialized and preventative care. Full-scale operations are set to launch in early 2025.Role overview:
The CSSD Technician role works under the guidance of their Line Manager within the framework of his/her duties and responsibilities and be responsible for the smooth operation of the department.Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of aseptic techniques and disinfection standards.
• Ensure efficient delivery of decontaminated and sterile supplies for the facility.
• Ensure appropriate routine and specialized housekeeping activities are carried out.
• Always remain sterility conscious.
• Follow SOPs and manufacturer guidelines for the care and maintenance of sterilization equipment.
• Assist in scheduling weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance for all equipment in the CSSD.
• Conduct Dummy Run, Bowie Dick, and Biological Tests for the steam sterilizer.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any healthcare related field/ associate degree in CSS Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a sterilization environment.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills possess knowledge of key pharmaceutical procedures and current best practices.
