Job Description

Black & Grey HR is hiring for one of the leading distributors for global elevator and escalator brands in Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Elevator Field Engineer who will be responsible for overseas operations, safety, and financial aspects to ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Installation: Involved in the installation of new elevator systems. This includes assembling and configuring elevator components, wiring, and conducting system tests to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks on elevators to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Maintenance activities may involve lubrication, adjustment of mechanical components, and inspection of safety features.
• Repairs: Responsible for diagnosing and repairing elevator malfunctions or breakdowns. This includes troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control system issues and making necessary adjustments or replacements.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring the elevators meet safety regulations and standards is a critical aspect of the role. Engineers conduct safety inspections and tests, address safety concerns, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including service logs, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Customer interaction: interaction with clients or building managers to schedule maintenance visits, discuss service needs, and provide information about the elevator systems.
• Financial: Control operational costs and Optimize maintenance costs

Requirements

• A strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues is critical for addressing elevator malfunctions effectively.
• Good Technical knowledge
• Good Communication Skills
