Job description: DescriptionAre you a Senior Civil Engineer based in the UAE ready for a new career opportunity? Tier 1 Buildings Main Contractor that have secured a 3 Billion AED Major Project in Dubai.Location of the project is 20 Minutes from Dubai Airport & Business Bay so very commutable. The team are on site now pouring concrete so there is an urgency to get the right caliber individuals in to start before the 1st of September latest.The Project Director is seeking proven senior engineers that have boots on the ground experience in the UAE for Building Main Contractors.Looking for characters that have handled large scale concrete pours, foundations, reinforced structures and steel. Can you work in a team and ensure that targets and deadlines are hit on site?Client & Project

• Long Term Client of NSR – 16 + years
• 4 Year program on site
• Iconic project will peak at 16,000 Labour on site

Responsibilities on site

• Obtain the drawings of the project, assess the material and manpower requirement accurately and work closely alongside the Section Construction Manager to ensure that targets and programs are hit
• Manage a safe and clean site ensuring that everyone gets home at the end of the day in one piece
• Maintain accurate record keeping of delays and changes that have occurred and assist the PQS to prepare claims for variations and time extension.
• Push the highest levels of quality across major earthworks and concrete pours
• Drive, lead and motivate your team
• Work with the supply chain to ensure that all issues are removed and that win wins are there for all

Before applying

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Main Contracting industry in the UAE
• Do you hold large scale building projects from High Rise, Hotels, Commercial & Shopping Malls. Think 1.5 Billion AED + WITH 700 + Labour
• Degree /Diploma in Civil Engineering – attested by local embassy
• Able to start employment before the 1st of September latest
• Strong command of English Communication/Written skills
• Based in the UAE and able to attend face to face interviews
• 6 Day week like any major project in the UAE – Project consists of day & night shift
• Able to provide a pay slip & references upon request by the client or NSR ASSOCIATES
