The Sales Manager is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing sales opportunities, ensuring seamless service delivery, and achieving sales objectives. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships to drive future bookings, coordinating sales efforts across teams, and developing new business opportunities while meeting personal and team sales targets.Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and manage sales leads to secure new business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with both existing and prospective clients through sales calls, meetings, and networking.
  • Collaborate with external sales channels to ensure coordinated sales strategies.
  • Participate in community events and trade shows to generate new business opportunities.
  • Execute the operational aspects of business deals, including proposal generation, contract negotiations, and customer correspondence.
  • Oversee the transition of business to Event Management and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Lead and participate in team sales calls to close new business and strengthen client relationships.
  • Analyze market trends, economic shifts, and competitors to position the property effectively against competition.
  • Identify and close on the best opportunities based on market conditions and property needs.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, aligning with company service standards.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and customers, ensuring clear communication and service excellence.
  • Set a positive example in guest relations, gathering and utilizing client feedback to improve service.

Requirements:

  • Education: 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or related field with 3 years of sales experience, OR 4-year degree in the same fields with 1 year of sales experience.
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality or related industries.
  • Skills: Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in sales techniques and market analysis.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to travel and attend sales calls, trade shows, and community events.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Strong knowledge of local market trends and competitor analysis.
