About the role

Supply Chain Planning:

Develop and implement the processes needed for running effective operations, work with other departments to gather crucial data, and coordinate supply chain activities with corporate objectives.

Logistics and Distribution:

Plan and coordinate all transportation-related tasks, such as delivery on time, reverse logistics, and first mile logistics. Streamline LMD operations and delivery networks.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Regularly analyze data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and supply chain risks.

Team Management:

Lead and supervise a team of warehouse, and delivery associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the Last Mile Delivery.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional -CSCP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and industry trends.
  • Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools (Last Mile Management Tools specifically)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Good command on analytical and business software (Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP etc.)
  • The candidate should possess the ability to recruit, train, and effectively manage a team of delivery associates.
  • The candidate should have prior experience in successfully managing last mile operations in their previous roles.
