As a Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking at FAB, your primary role is to manage a profitable customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to cross-sell banking solutions, originate credit proposals, and deepen client engagement at the executive level. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and achieving sales and service targets.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a defined portfolio of commercial banking clients
- Originate new business across lending and non-lending products
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure timely updates
- Prepare and initiate credit proposals and conduct risk analysis
- Ensure compliance with approved credit terms and operational policies
- Maximize share of wallet across all banking products
- Resolve escalated service issues and maintain high service quality
- Prospect new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
- Engage with senior executives (CEO/CFO) to provide banking insights
- Monitor portfolio performance and maintain relationship health
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Banking (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or business banking
- Minimum 3 years in a similar client-facing, borrowing portfolio role
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, client onboarding, and portfolio management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to meet revenue, service, and growth targets
- Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and lending practices
