Job title: Site Safety Officer

Job description: Key Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to electrical safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout, working near/live equipment, and safe tool usage.Obtain and manage daily Permit to Work (PTW) and ensure all related safety compliance.Liaise with the project team for daily activity coordination and safety planning.Implement and follow approved Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).Conduct routine safety inspections and halt work in case of unsafe acts or conditions.Ensure all equipment, ladders, and scaffolding are inspected and certified for safe use.Provide daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) to the workforce and maintain engagement on safety awareness.Investigate incidents, near misses, and recommend corrective actions.Prepare and submit daily safety reports; maintain logs for TBT, Near Misses, and inspections.Ensure compliance with Siemens safety standards, Dubai Municipality Code of Construction, and Ministry of Health regulations.Collaborate closely with project and site management to address and rectify EHS concerns.Requirements:3–5 years of EHS experience in construction or MEP projects.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.NEBOSH IGC certification – Mandatory.OSHAD Practitioner certification – Preferred.UAE Driving License – Required.Strong communication and reporting skills.Ability to relocate and manage safety across various project locations in the UAE.

Expected salary: 8000 – 10000 per month
