Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is hiring a detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support the Right of Way department. This role involves managing inspection records, contractor coordination, complaint resolution, and supporting administrative and operational activities related to road user safety and contractor compliance.Employment Overview

Job Type: Full-timeWhat You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate and well-organized records of all section activities using a standardized index system
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on campaigns, including an annual summary of all activities
- Coordinate monthly fines statements and work with finance on collection and documentation
- Liaise with contractors, respond to their queries, and guide them through document requirements
- Review inspectors’ reports and suggest solutions to improve performance and overcome challenges
- Handle complaints received from the call center, coordinating with relevant departments until resolved
- Review contractor violation reports and recommend appropriate fines per local regulations
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, seminars, and required documents
- Support budget planning by coordinating with relevant departments
- Organize meetings and documentation related to the Emergency Team, including minutes and follow-ups
- Coordinate with inspection teams on safety concerns or complaints that impact public road safety
- Study and investigate objections and complaints, and provide reports with recommendations to management
- Track and report monthly and annual financial revenue of the section in coordination with the finance team
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university
- 0-2 years of work experience in a similar civil engineering or inspection-related role
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Ability to manage public complaints and coordinate across departments
- Familiar with local laws related to contractor compliance and fines
- Proficient in using electronic systems for reporting and case tracking
- UAE Nationals only
