The Front Desk Agent at InterContinental Hotels Group Dubai Festival City will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm welcomes, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and professional service throughout the guest’s stay. This role requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to create a seamless and memorable experience for each guest in a world-class luxury hotel environment.What You’ll Do
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival
- Handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently in accordance with IHG standards
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Process reservations, room assignments, and billing accurately using hotel systems
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest service delivery
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally, escalating when needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, promotions, and special offers
- Promote hotel services and upsell room categories to maximize revenue
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Ideal Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the service industry, preferably in a front desk or guest services role within a luxury hotel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems such as Opera
- Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities
- Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
