The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in coordinating with various project teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.TASKS:

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Establish milestones and deadlines to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary schedule inputs and constraints.
• Monitor project progress against the established schedule and report any deviations or delays.
• Identify potential risks and delays and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings and workshops to discuss progress, issues, and corrective actions.
• Manage and document changes to the project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Assess the impact of changes on the project schedule and provide recommendations.
• Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with project standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular quality checks on project schedules and related documentation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the Oil & Gas sector, with a strong EPC background.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles, techniques, and tools.
• Proficiency in project management software, in particular Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Fluent level of written and spoken English.
