We are inviting applications for the position of Purchase Manager based out of our Head Office in Dubai, UAE.

The job holder will lead the department and shall be managing and controlling all activities and processes related to purchase of related goods, quality inspection, co-ordination & timely follow up with the buyers and overseeing warehousing operations.

Key Position Responsibilities:

Procurement

• Purchasing project prioritization and management
• Budget along with strategy
• Manage and optimize purchases
• Manage purchasing information and systems, and purchasing services IT
• Manage suppliers, relationships, and liaison with other departments to forecast, plan to meet, and to supply demand to relevant quality
• Make or buy policy analysis and decisions
• Outsource strategy/development/management
• Payment terms negotiation, optimization, acquisition and management
• Stock and materials management
• International trading issues/imports/legal, awareness and management
• Establish foreign and domestic suppliers

Logistics

• Manage warehousing, distribution & shipping.
• Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
• Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand.
• Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
• Analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions

Warehousing

• Oversee stock control and processing orders.
• Fulfill objectives and directions from the operation’s team
• Keep stock control systems up to date.
• Plan future capacity requirements.
• Produce regular reports and statistics.
• Conducting inventory audits at all work locations

Eligibility Criteria:

· 8 -10 yrs. of experience in relevant field

· Qualification-MBA specializing in Procurement or equivalent

· Exposure to sourcing, vendor management and quality assurance

· Must have eye for detail, good in data and numbers

· Must understand business goals & practice sustainability

· Must be technology driven

· Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

· Must have great negotiating skills

· Track record of working across multicultural teams

· Good interpersonal skills and team management.
