- Teach Science at upper high school/secondary level, ensuring engaging lessons that inspire achievement
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a dynamic and innovative Science department
- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with IB philosophy and the Learner Profile values
- Monitor student progress, assess performance, and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and promote best practices in teaching
- Support extracurricular and enrichment activities that foster student curiosity and success
- Engage in continuous professional development, including training with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO)
- Uphold the school’s vision of nurturing student growth in a supportive and inclusive environment
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor of Education in Science, or a degree in a science subject with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of teaching secondary Science, ideally with IB or NCofE experience
- Strong understanding of the IB DP framework and inquiry-based teaching approaches is preferred
- Proven track record of helping students achieve strong academic outcomes
- Passion for teaching within a diverse and inclusive school community
- Commitment to reflective practice, professional growth, and educational innovation
