- Develop and implement buying strategies for the Beauty category to achieve sales, margin, and profitability goals
- Source and purchase products aligned with customer preferences and company vision
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and exclusivity with suppliers to secure competitive terms
- Manage the procurement cycle including purchase orders, shipment tracking, and vendor compliance
- Build strong supplier relationships while identifying new vendors to enrich the product range
- Secure exclusive launches, collaborations, and promotional opportunities with beauty brands
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify global and regional beauty trends
- Use sales and customer data to refine assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies
- Maintain healthy inventory levels to reduce markdowns and maximize turnover
- Collaborate with finance to monitor budgets, margins, and cost optimization
- Partner with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams for successful launches
- Mentor junior buyers, guiding career development and succession planning
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 4-6 years of buying experience, with at least 2 years in Beauty (skincare, makeup, fragrance, wellness)
- Proven experience in e-commerce or omnichannel retail within GCC or MENA markets
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market and customer insights
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Familiarity with inventory planning and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
