As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing retail banking relationships, and promoting the bank’s financial products and services. You will play a key role in account planning, customer engagement, cross-selling, and ensuring service excellence across all client touchpoints.Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers by identifying needs, proposing tailored banking solutions, and coordinating with product teams
  • Develop and execute account plans for portfolio clients, ensuring regular engagement and proactive service delivery
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of clients’ accounts, product usage, and financial activity to provide personalized advice and offerings
  • Build long-term relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all account-related services and escalations
  • Conduct regular client meetings to discuss financial needs, introduce new products, and explore cross-sell opportunities
  • Monitor account activity, ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards, and uphold operational controls
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Risk, Legal, Operations, Technology) to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Stay informed about market trends, customer behaviors, and regulatory changes to adapt relationship strategies accordingly
  • Achieve personal performance targets and contribute to team goals on acquisition, retention, and customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail customer relationship management within the banking sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field
  • Mandatory certifications: SCA (CISI Level 3) and UAE Rules & Regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset
  • Knowledge of retail banking products, account operations, and financial advisory practices
  • Proficient in account planning, client acquisition, and portfolio management
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships while delivering quality service and cross-sell performance
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance
